Offline learner tracking for shared-device learning

Track each learner, even when devices are shared.

LearnTrack gives schools and education organisations clear visibility into learner activity on shared devices, with offline learner tracking and education activity monitoring even when internet access is limited.

Offline learner tracking

Built to track learner activity reliably with little or no internet

Shared-device ready

Supports shared-device learning environments where many learners use one device

Education activity monitoring

Records who learned, when, and for how long across classes and programs

Simple sync workflow

Upload unsynced sessions once connectivity returns

Designed for the realities of learning in low-resource settings

Many learning tools assume one learner, one device, and reliable internet. That is not the reality in many schools, refugee camps, and community learning programmes. LearnTrack is built for the conditions on the ground.

See each learner clearly

When students share devices or accounts, learning data becomes mixed, incomplete, or unusable. LearnTrack gives each learner a simple way to identify themselves so sessions can be recorded properly.

No internet should not mean no data. LearnTrack stores learning sessions locally on the device, so activity is still captured even when the connection is unavailable.

Fit around existing learning apps

You do not need to replace the tools already being used. LearnTrack is designed to sit alongside existing learning applications and make learner activity more visible and accountable.

How LearnTrack works

The workflow is intentionally simple, so it can be used with minimal training and on low-spec Android devices.

  1. Identify the learner

The learner enters a simple numeric ID on the device before starting.

  2. Track the session

The facilitator or learner taps start, uses the learning app, then returns to tap finish. LearnTrack records the start time, end time, and duration.

  3. Sync when internet is available

When connectivity returns, the facilitator taps Sync Data and unsynced sessions are uploaded to the central database.

Built for teams solving real delivery challenges

"LearnTrack addresses a simple but critical problem: when many learners share a few devices, it becomes very hard to know who actually used what, and for how long."

Amina Njeri

"What stands out is the practicality. It does not assume constant internet, high-end hardware, or a complete change in how programmes already deliver learning."

Kwame Mensah

"The value is not complexity. The value is reliable, learner-level records in environments where data is usually lost or blurred."

Do not let shared devices hide learner progress.

LearnTrack makes it possible to identify learners individually, capture sessions offline, and sync later. Simple enough for real-world deployment. Strong enough to prove what is happening on the ground.
